Job Description/Summary

Sales Auditors report directly to the Sales Manager and are responsible for collecting information on the merchandise that needs to be returned or has shipping errors (shortages, overages, and damages) and entering credits or invoicing as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls from Customers, Buttery Delivery Drivers, and Buttery Salesmen
• Collect needed information on the merchandise that needs to be returned or has shipping errors (shortages, overages and damages)
• Research/Validate information by reviewing invoices, picking documents, notes from driver’s delivery papers, missing cartons, vendor warranties, and damaged claims
• After validation, enter credits in the system or invoice the customer for additional merchandise they may have received and want to keep
• Invoicing returns when merchandise has been returned to Buttery Company and can be put back into stock
• Work with suppliers to handle warranty claims and damaged or defective products
• All other duties as assigned
