Full Stack Engineer (UI Focused)

Hybrid two weeks onsite a month in Westlake, TX

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer to fill a 12-month+ contract position in Westlake, TX. This position is hybrid, with onsite work two weeks a month, and candidates must be local to the metro area. This role will be focused on 70% UI and 30% backend development.

Rate: $66.00 to $71.00/hr. w2

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve a representative-facing recordkeeping application.
• Lead and be accountable for the engineering team's deliveries across sprints and releases.
• Apply excellence in software development practices and procedures.
• Design and implement cloud-native and microservice-based solutions.
• Ensure QA readiness through unit, component, functional, performance, and security test automation.
• Perform troubleshooting and triage in production and non-production environments.
• Support the implementation of moderate-scope projects and major initiatives.
• Contribute to multiple phases of complex projects and deliver original technical solutions.
• Collaborate, document solutions, and continuously learn and improve.

• 6–9 years of full-stack development experience using Java, Spring Boot, Angular (v18+), Node.js, and JavaScript

• Experience with RESTful APIs via Express, Node, Spring Boot or Dropwizard

• Strong AWS experience and certification preferred

• Proficiency in DevSecOps CI/CD automation pipelines and service virtualization

• Experience with Oracle database and PL/SQL
