Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

A day in the life

You arrive before the first bend is made, walking the line to ensure the press brake is dialed in and ready. Tooling gets staged, programs are verified, and the first pieces are measured. Throughout the day, you monitor and adjust speed, material feed, and machine path to maintain consistent quality. You keep parts flowing so downstream assembly never waits, juggling priorities to meet production demand. Between runs you change tooling, select the right machine program, and lend a hand where needed—cross-training, checking inventory, and pitching in on preventive maintenance with proper lockout/tagout. You end your shift with a clean work area and accurate counts, satisfied that safety, quality, and throughput all stayed on target.

What you will do

• Form precision sheet metal parts that feed assembly operations.
• Safely load and unload sheet metal; change tooling and select the correct machine programs.
• Use required PPE, follow all safety procedures, and keep a clean, organized work cell.
• Adhere to inventory control procedures for materials, WIP, and finished parts.
• Cross-train on adjacent processes to provide backup support as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance using proper lockout/tagout procedures.
• Consistently meet or exceed company productivity and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What you bring

• 2–5 years operating a press brake or similar forming equipment in manufacturing; Amada experience is a plus.
• Background in lean/continuous improvement environments.
• Proficient with tape measure reading and dimensional verification.
• Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Sharp attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Must pass background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Physical demands and environment

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive tasks common to precision forming.
• Standing, bending, and stooping throughout the shift.
• Work around multiple large, loud machines operating simultaneously.
• Non–air-conditioned shop with ventilation; temperature mirrors outdoor conditions.
