Manicure Instructor - Remote | WFH

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Manicure Instructor to join our faculty. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality instruction, design engaging lesson plans, and support students as they build their competencies in nail care and artistry.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and learning objectives.
Instruction: Provide both theoretical and practical instruction on nail care, nail art, manicure techniques, and salon sanitation.
Demonstration: Model proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards to students.
Learning Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth.
Supervision: Oversee students during practical sessions, providing hands-on guidance and support.
Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assessments, exams, and projects, offering constructive feedback.
Student Support: Identify and address individual learning needs, supporting students as necessary.
Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and new techniques to ensure an up-to-date curriculum.
Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
Mentorship: Serve as a role model and mentor, inspiring students in their journey to becoming skilled manicurists.
Collaboration: Work with colleagues to enhance curriculum, develop programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Licensing: A current Manicurist or Cosmetology license in good standing and an Instructor license are required.
Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as a practicing manicurist. Previous teaching or training experience in manicuring or cosmetology is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong knowledge of manicuring principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in instructional technology.
Attributes: Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for educating and mentoring aspiring manicurists. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.

Work Schedule: Day and evening positions are available, with the possibility of a partial remote schedule.
