Senior Product Manager
Robbins Recruiting Solutions has partnered with a leading retail merchandising solutions company who is continuously innovative with creative approaches to meet customers’ needs. To accommodate and maintain that position in the marketplace, they are constantly in the development of new products, as well as the maintenance and revision of existing product suite. The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the overall success of the portfolio of solutions, which includes working with engineers, designers, to gather and prioritize customer requirements, define the product roadmap, and track product performance. The Product Management team will support the business development team by developing and presenting technical product information and material, market research, store audit, and assisting with customer presentations when required. \n
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap which is aligned with Company vision and goals.
- Collaborate with sales management teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and improve existing products.
- Collaborate with product development, design, engineering, production, and sales in new product development initiatives.
- Oversee the product compliance and certification processes when required.
- Manage product commercialization.
- Lead the process for product innovation
- Assist with the management and communication of product pricing strategy.
- Collaborate establishing the preferred inventory levels for product launch and post-launch maintenance ensuring product availability.
- Establishing product pack-outs that meet internal operational efficiencies as well as improving the customer’s operational experience.
- Lead the product training of internal teams, as well as external partners, on existing and new product.
- Collaborate with marketing to establish the unique selling proposition which differentiates the Company product to the rest of the market.
- Assist sales and other internal departments on technical product questions assistance.
- Assist in creating reference tools that allow internal teams to determine alternative solutions for our customer’s customized needs.
- Work with sales management in creating sales support materials
- Assist in product management for trade shows
- Product portfolio & maintenance
- Track product performance and make necessary adjustments to the product strategy and roadmap to address areas for improvement.
- Assisting with the development of installation instructions and maintenance requirements.
- Help in mentoring and developing product managers to oversee a growing product catalog and production capability.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in technical field such as product design or engineering
- 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of merchandising principles and practices
- Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and collaborations skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of team.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Self-motivated with strong accountability
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and using relevant software tools
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances in a global organization undergoing rapid growth
- Maintain ethical, professional and courteous relations with all business contacts
- Willingness to work with and manage people
$110,000 - $120,000 a year
