Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Candidates must possess EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Candidates must have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The role involves working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends. There are no call requirements. The unit has 32 beds and accommodates a patient ratio of 1:2. Staffing includes a charge nurse on each shift along with RNs to maintain the appropriate ratios. Preferred candidates will have internal monitor placement competency and experience in a high-volume unit. Typical procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. A team player with a positive attitude is essential for success in this role. The dress code requires solid navy blue scrubs with no T-shirts, and solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts are acceptable.
