Proman Skilled Trades in Austin, Texas is looking for Pipefitter/Welders. MUST BE 6 G Certified.
Key responsibilities; Cutting threading, bending and joining pipe using techniques such as GTAW (Tig), SMAW (Stick) and GMAW (MIG). Analyze blueprints, schematics and ISO drawings to determine piping layouts and specifications. Inspecting and testing pipe systems for leaks and pressure integrity. Repairing existing pipe systems and components.
Must adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety guidelines, including using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Position also requires moving positioning and securing pipes using tools like jacks, clamps and torches, American Welding Society (AWS) +5
