Settlement Clerk (Billing)

Settlement Clerk (3 days in office)

Location: Frisco, TX

SUMMARY:

This position requires the ability to perform accurate and timely data input of account information and verification of all data input, as well as ensuring that all required information and documentation is received to perform maintenance as requested by a client. The position will require one to pay close attention to details in a time-sensitive, fast paced environment. Candidate will also be required to ensure documentation received is maintained and made available for internal use.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Input data for new and change requests for terminals.
• Verify data entry work by 1pm M-F to make sure all financial information is correct within daily deadlines.
• Provide error information to the Supervisor within set deadlines.
• Review and ensure all documentation and signature(s) are received from proper authority for setup or change requests.
• Maintain open communications between internal team members.
• Ensure all emails are responded to in a timely manner or within set deadlines.
• Store all documentation for the Settlement Department accurately and in a timely manner making sure it is made available for internal use.
• Cross train in all aspects of base responsibilities to successfully assist other team members as needed.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiates and additional duties, as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate and use MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a regularly changing environment.
• Self-motivation and ability to quickly learn and adapt.
• Problem-solving skills a plus.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required.

MINIMUM PREPARATION AND TRAINING:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of experience in data entry and filing.
