Planning Intern
- Assist in managing planning and production execution data, including work orders, prioritization, capacity constraints, and production monitoring.
- Support maintaining MRP planning and scheduling parameters for "make" items.
- Analyze production reports and help in the timely release of work orders.
- Work with production teams to assist in prioritization and resolving production imbalances.
- Contribute to preparing shortage and backlog reports, flagging potential interruptions.
- Support in monitoring production progress against scheduling needs.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve lead times, and decrease costs.
- Report scheduling, capacity, and production data as defined by the Master Schedule policy.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, or related fields
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of production planning or supply chain processes is a plus.
