About the Job:
We are seeking reliable, skilled, and service-oriented individuals to join our Maintenance Teams. This role supports all aspects of property maintenance operations, including preventative, corrective, emergency, and cosmetic repairs. Whether assisting with make-readies, completing service requests, or supporting overall property upkeep, this position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming community for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in completing work orders, make-readies, and preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
  • Perform general property maintenance, including:
    • Basic plumbing and electrical repairs (non-licensed level).
    • Appliance installation and troubleshooting.
    • Drywall repair, carpentry, painting, and hardware replacement.
    • Pool care and pest control (if performed in-house).
  • Support the team in identifying and resolving safety hazards around the property.
  • Help maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and vendors.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
  • Assist in coordinating outside contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of apartment, property, or related maintenance experience.
  • Certifications:
    • HVAC certification (Preferred).
    • EPA certification for Freon handling (Preferred).
    • Pool/spa and pest control certification (if performed in-house).
    • CPO (Preferred).


Skills:

  • Proficiency with general maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English; bilingual a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Must have a working smartphone with a data plan for company apps.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working at heights over 8 feet (e.g., roofs, ladders).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces).
