Maintenance Technician

We're hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support repairs, installations and preventative maintenance across a portfolio of production / warehouse properties.

This hands-on role requires strong trade skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance, along with the ability to troubleshoot and respond to emergency service requests. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial maintenance experience, can diagnose and resolve issues quickly, and works well in a fast-paced environment. A company van, basic tools, and uniform are provided. EPA certification, OSHA 10 or 30, and a valid driver s license are required.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance work with experience with the trades (carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing) and warehouse / production operations.
• Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
• Utilize a computerized maintenance system to produce and track work orders, preventative maintenance tasks and track facility assets.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues to determine cause and solution, may require work outside of normal schedule.

Required Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, appliances, plumbing, drywall, and grounds maintenance.
• Able to occasionally work at heights up to 12 feet or the use of up to a 32' scissor lift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues quickly and accurately.
• Turn maintenance tasks around in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to represent yourself in a professional manner.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with building management and/or maintenance.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors a plus.
• Commercial electrical experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent - trade school degree preferred.
• Valid driver s license Hiring will be subject to Driver Requirements.
• Background Check
• EPA certificate
• OSHA 10 or 30 certificate

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Ability to carry and lift 50lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders.
