Job Summary:
VantagePoint Alliance (VPA) is seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to support one of our valued partners in the electrical control panel and switchgear manufacturing space. In this role, you will ensure all final product inspections meet industry and customer quality standards, with a focus on UL508A, UL67, and UL891 compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final inspections of electrical control panels and switchgear to verify conformance to UL and other relevant standards.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and help implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate quality control documentation, including inspection reports and deviation logs.
• Communicate quality concerns and resolutions with internal stakeholders and VPA project contacts.
• Provide guidance and informal training to production teams on quality expectations and best practices.
• Monitor industry developments to stay current with quality standards and regulatory updates.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year in a QA/QC role within an electrical manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Hands-on experience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of electrical control panel fabrication and inspection processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
