Physical Therapist Assistant Job Details

• Location: Conroe, TX 77304 (Houston metro area – Texas healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation (LTACH)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (potential to extend)
• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours per week (average 36 hours)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, flexible scheduling
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1120 - $1150
• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• Parking: Onsite parking available

PTA Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA (2-3 years acute care or inpatient rehab experience preferred)
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or hospital settings strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals in an inpatient rehab environment
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment plans using paper records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
