Mental Health Counselor Serenidad Comprehensive Behavioral Health Program (Laredo, TX)
Location: Laredo, TX.
Position: 1 Full-time Mental Health Counselor: Serenidad Comprehensive Behavioral Health Program.
Duties: Provide outpatient evidence-based trauma-informed treatment consisting of individual and family counseling to male and female individuals, youth, and families with mental illness, emotional disturbance, or co-occurring disorder (COD) who are experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of homelessness.
Work-Schedule: Monday-Friday
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or clinical psychology required.
- LPC, LCSW, LPC-I, or LMSW required.
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish) and able to speak Spanish fluently.
- Good computer skills.
- Valid TX driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LPC-Associate License
- Experience in the mental health field preferred
- Experienced with Evidence-based practices
Benefits for Full-Time Position include:
Salary range: $48,000 to $60,000 depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
