Devops engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our software development backend (Python) and work with geospatial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and be proficient in a variety of technologies, including MapBox, Big Data, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Linux, Docker, Python, and front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt.js.

Years of Experience : 5-8 years

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects.

· Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

· Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and performance.

· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

· Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Work with geospatial data and tools like MapBox to support application development.

Technical Skills:

· Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

· Experience in Version control tools like GitHub.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

· Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible

· Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.

· Hands on in docker and Kubernetes.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies.

· Experience in supporting DevOps for SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.

· Experience with Big Data technologies.

· Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt.js

Education & Certifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

· 5+ years of experience in Devops.

· Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

· Strong understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and software architecture

· Experience with Agile development methodologies

· Familiarity with telecommunications industry technologies.
