- Manage financial operations for the Mobile Logistics Department, with emphasis on operational spend (warehouse, transportation).
- Oversee accounts payable, financial reporting, and data analysis.
- Lead monthly forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for logistics operations.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports and executive decks to stakeholders (executives, dispatchers, HQ Korea).
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, transportation, accounting, and HQ teams.
- Participate in regular financial review meetings (2–4 per month) to review performance, forecasts, and process improvements.
- Reallocate costs to appropriate cost centers and manage month-end closing processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk minimization.
- Drive continuous process improvements in financial management and reporting.
- Support ad-hoc projects related to financial strategy, analysis, and operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance.
- Flexible: 5+ years with strong bilingual (Korean/English) skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear insights.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Logistics or supply chain experience helpful, but not required.
- Korean/English bilingual highly preferred to support communication with HQ and dispatchers.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence to interact at all levels.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Summary:
The Financial Manager 1 will support Samsung Electronics America’s Mobile Logistics Team, overseeing financial operations for the distribution of mobile phones and accessories across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. This role is focused on operational financial management (not corporate finance), including accounts payable, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting related to warehouse and transportation costs.
The Financial Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial oversight, driving efficiency, and providing actionable insights to executives, dispatchers, and HQ in Korea.
