Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - Minimum years of experience: 2 - Previous charge experience preferred - Required charting system experience with Epic - Required community hospital experience - Travel experience required License: - Registered Nurse license Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: - COVID-19 vaccine not required - Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Labor and Delivery. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients during childbirth and postpartum. The nurse will manage patient care and support the team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with a patient ratio of 2:1. Candidate must be proficient in using the Epic charting system. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is necessary. This position involves interdisciplinary support from various services such as physical therapy and pharmacy. Candidates will care for adolescents and adult patients. The unit's daily census averages around 6 patients, with a total of 15 available beds. Special procedures and unit details include OBED, operating rooms, and close collaboration with rapid response teams.
