Hourly Rate: $16.50
Available Schedules : (Monday – Thursday)

1st shift 4:00am - 2:30pm

2nd shift 3:00PM - 1:30AM

Job Summary

• Set up, operate, and tend machines to create product.

General Accountabilities

• Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications.
• Set up, test, and adjust machines according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
• Load work pieces into machines.
• Position, align, and secure work pieces against fixtures or stops on machine.
• Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.
• Examine completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
• Maintain clean working area. Utilize hoist to pull cardboard rolls onto machine. Lifting up-to 50 LBS.
• Comply with all OSHA and company safety rules

Job Qualifications

• Experience: At least two years of experience as machine operator or in manufacturing

• Operation Monitoring, Active Listening, Critical Thinking, Operation and Control
• Quality Control Analysis, Monitoring, Reading Comprehension
• Safety compliance and safety awareness

Physical Demands

• Occasionally required to walk.
• Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to bend, lift or climb
• Occasionally required to lift light weights (less than 50 pounds)
• Finger dexterity required.
• Hand coordination required.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus
