General Assembler

Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean production floor common areas using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Utilize dust mops to clean floors and mop with approved chemicals as per procedure.
• Buff floors as scheduled to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Clean various surfaces including doors, windows, fire extinguishers, desks, chairs, and copy machines.
• Empty trash cans in assembly and packaging areas as required.
• Clean main and packaging transition rooms daily with approved solutions.
• Empty trash cans and replacing plastic bags in transition rooms as needed.
• Replace sticky mats when necessary to maintain cleanliness.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness of the mop closet.
• Wash mops and mop buckets at the end of each shift.
• Change dust mops and mop heads according to procedure.
• Participate in special projects or assignments as directed by the manager.
• Demonstrate positive communication and teamwork skills by seeking assistance from co-workers when needed.

Experience Required

• High School Diploma/GED not required.
• Preferred: 3 months of experience in cleaning activities

• Proficiency in cleaning techniques and procedures
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Strong organizational skills to manage cleaning tasks efficiently.
