Job Description

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established organization in the insurance industry, to identify an experienced Operations Project & Audit Manager. This individual will play a key role in overseeing operational initiatives, driving project execution, and supporting audit functions across the business. This is a highly visible role working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of operational projects, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and deadlines
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, delegating responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing risks, changes, and overall project status
• Maintain thorough documentation including reports, timelines, and post-project evaluations
• Oversee departmental audit processes, including planning, execution, and follow-up activities
• Assess internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements
• Prepare detailed audit findings and present insights to leadership
• Track remediation efforts and ensure timely resolution of audit-related issues
• Support testing initiatives to validate system functionality and operational workflows
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and drive efficiency improvements
• Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as business needs evolve

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or audit-related roles
• Prior experience within the life insurance, annuities, or related financial services industry required
• Strong understanding of operational processes, controls, and regulatory considerations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional initiatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to leadership
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
