Technical Support Specialist
Technical Support Specialist to support operational, business, and system-related initiatives within the Puerto Rico Medicaid Program (PRMP) and other healthcare-related projects. This role serves as a key liaison between business users, operational teams, technical resources, project stakeholders, and external vendors to drive successful system implementation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and operational requirements through stakeholder engagement. Serve as a liaison between business, operations, technical teams, and vendors to support solution design and implementation. Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency. Provide first-line business and technical support by troubleshooting operational and system-related issues. Support testing activities including test planning, test execution, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and solution validation. Document requirements, workflows, findings, recommendations, and business processes. Analyze operational data, business metrics, and KPIs to support strategic decision-making. Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders. Support system implementations, operational readiness activities, and additional project initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field. Experience supporting Healthcare Eligibility Determination processes preferred. Experience participating in system testing and business validation activities. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process improvement capabilities. Desired Technical Skills: Knowledge of JAVA or similar software-based systems. Experience participating in system design and requirements gathering sessions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Strong understanding of business analysis, testing methodologies, and operational support processes. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
