IT Systems Administrator

Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a contract IT Systems Admin for a company located in the La Marque area. The position combines systems administration, endpoint management, and end-user support, providing Tier I–III technical assistance while assisting with core infrastructure services.


As the IT Systems Admin you will:
• Assist with administration and maintenance of servers, virtual environments, core infrastructure, and hybrid identity systems, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization; perform routine updates, patching, and maintenance.
• Maintain backup and recovery solutions, perform data restoration, and support business continuity and system redundancy. • Deploy, configure, image, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software, and standard applications. • Provide Microsoft 365 support, including email, collaboration tools, and other user applications.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues involving connectivity, switches, wireless systems, file servers, printers, and network drives.
• Provide Tier I–III technical support for hardware, software, access, login, peripheral, and general IT issues through helpdesk tickets.
• Support citywide IT operations, including onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning, asset inventory, lifecycle replacement, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain system documentation, procedures, configurations, and SOPs; assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Provide user training and guidance, after-hours support, and IT assistance during maintenance, outages, emergencies, and other operational needs.


What you’ll need:
1-3 years of IT experience – REQUIRED
• Associates degree or higher in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Salary:
• Salary: $25/hr
