Irrigation Administrator - Commercial

Position Overview

The Commercial Irrigation Administrator is responsible for providing support to the irrigation team, while assisting in the overall success of the branch. The successful candidate has high attention to detail, organized with timely and accurate reporting, data entry, and billing to ensure branch progress toward goals is tracked accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, test, and inspect new irrigation installations as well as existing systems to ensure optimal performance
• Replace pipes, heads, and valves as needed
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, including pipes, fittings, sprinkler heads, electrical components, and central control computers
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with two-wire irrigation systems, including wire tracing and diagnostics
• Observe and evaluate pipe and valve placements, system start-ups, winterization, and overall operation
• Install irrigation timers, piping, and valves with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform routine and seasonal maintenance to keep systems running efficiently
• Assess water usage and adjust systems to prevent over- or under-watering, improving water efficiency
• Proactively diagnose and resolve irrigation problems to minimize downtime
• Complete and submit daily paperwork and maintain accurate records for all jobs
• Utilize technology effectively for diagnostics, record-keeping, and communication
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and core values consistently.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative, operations support, or client service role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
• Experience using Aspire or similar operational software is a strong plus
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external clients
• Bi-lingual in Spanish/English, fluent in verbal and written communication
