Senior Power BI Developer

Responsibilities <\/b>
<\/b><\/div>

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  <\/li>
• Implement updates to SCOR Java application business logic and user interface components.
  <\/li>
• Extend and enhance reporting capabilities using Power BI and the system data model.
  <\/li>
• Investigate problem areas and support defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  <\/li>
• Support application enhancements and defect corrections in a maintenance mode environment.
  <\/li>
• Conduct coding, testing, and peer reviews across multiple application environments.
  <\/li>
• Maintain code coverage, testing standards, and security policies and procedures.
  <\/li>
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications and programming standards.
  <\/li>
• Produce and maintain technical documentation as required by unit operations.
  <\/li>
• Provide on -call support as needed and perform other duties as assigned and required by unit operations.

  Requirements <\/h3>

  Minimum Qualifications <\/b>
  <\/p>

  • 8 or more years of experience with Power BI.
    <\/li>
  • 8 or more years of experience writing SQL for relational databases.
    <\/li>
  • 8 or more years of experience with RESTful web services on the Spring platform.
    <\/li>
  • 8 or more years of experience with JUnit and unit test development.
    <\/li>
  • Demonstrated ability to independently perform a variety of complex and complicated tasks.
    <\/li>
  • Proven ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    <\/li>
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others as needed.
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Qualifications <\/b>
    <\/div>

    • 4 or more years of experience with the Angular UI Framework.
      <\/li>
    • 4 or more years of experience with Crystal Reports.
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Additional Requirements

      • The worker may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as requested by HHSC.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • The worker may be required to work remotely at HHSC discretion, up to 100 percent of the time.

        Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, excluding Texas state holidays.

        Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days remote, with 2 days required on -site.
