Position: Spanish Patient Coordinator

Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380

Duration: 3+ Months (12 Weeks) – Possible Extension

Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $17–18/hr on W2

Job Description:

We are looking for a bilingual Spanish Patient Coordinator to join a healthcare front office team in The Woodlands, TX . This role requires a customer service-oriented individual with experience in patient access, insurance verification, and front desk operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be fluent in both English and Spanish, and be comfortable using computer systems, including EMR platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner

  • Complete patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes accurately

  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain pre-authorizations as needed

  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; manage cash and credit card payments

  • Maintain accurate patient records within the system

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow

  • Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns or escalate when needed

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment

Requirements:
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Required

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • 3–4 years of experience in a medical front office or patient access role

  • Experience with health insurance verification

  • Strong customer service and cash handling background

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to use 10-key by touch

  • Familiarity with front office operations in a healthcare setting

  • Experience handling credit card transactions

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Epic or other EMR systems
