Job Summary:
Ed Payne Motors is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our high-performing service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest dealership and manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, professional experience, and a passion for the automotive industry.
We are currently hiring experienced Stellantis Certified Technicians.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from a technical school or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician preferred
- Stellantis certification highly preferred
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and general vehicle repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and recommend necessary services
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with service advisors, team members, and customers
- Stay current on OEM and industry repair standards and technology
Skills & Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective time management and task prioritization
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 consecutive years
- Must have or be able to obtain a Texas driver’s license
- Clean driving record required
