Description/Notes: The Director of School Improvement – Operations and Support serves as a key partner to the Superintendent and the Director of School Improvement – Instruction in supporting principals and assistant principals and strengthening campus operations across the district.
The Director of School Improvement – Operations and Support serves as the primary liaison between campuses and central office departments, helping principals navigate operational challenges, improve organizational effectiveness, and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
Through strategic leadership, operational oversight, accountability monitoring, resource alignment, and continuous improvement practices, this position ensures campuses receive the support, guidance, and services necessary to enhance organizational effectiveness, improve student outcomes, and advance the mission, vision, and strategic goals of Kingsville ISD.
This position supports campus leaders in the areas of student and staff attendance, budgeting, personnel and student management, nutrition, health care, counseling, enrollment, T-TESS implementation, parent and community relations, grievance resolution, campus activities, accountability monitoring, compliance, student discipline management and procedures, special programs support and coordination (SPED, 504, GT, Bil/ESL, etc.), and operational planning
while advancing the district's strategic goals.
Master's degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field required.
Valid Texas teaching certificate and Texas principal or mid-management certification required.
Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience and three (3) years of instructional leadership experience (e.g., instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, or district-level leader).
Demonstrated success in school improvement, operational management, and organizational leadership.
Experience managing budgets, personnel, compliance, student discipline, and district initiatives.
Experience supporting campus leaders and implementing continuous improvement processes and strategies in alignment with district goals and priorities.
Salary: $83,028.00 - $100,032.00 (commensurate with documented experience)
