Job Summary and Qualifications

The Admin Coord Financial Insurance will perform administrative support duties and will utilize skills for the staff in order to care for the patient in an effective and efficient manner.

1. Initiates the collection of referral information, medical records and insurance cards and enters into Financial database.

2. Ensures that preauthorization's and precertification's are obtained on clinic visits and inpatient admissions.

3. Collaborates with the Charge Nurse to maintain the clinic schedule.

4. Coordinates second visits with staff members and creates schedules for pretests and second visits.

5. Displays excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers.

6. Completes other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

1. Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required.

2. Experience: Minimum of three (2) years experience in a medical office setting.
