Job Overview

We're hiring EVS Technicians to help keep our hospital clean, safe, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and other hospital spaces while following safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including discharge rooms.
• Clean hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other public areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Remove trash and recyclables.
• Handle and transport linens as needed.
• Follow hospital cleaning, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Work with team members and hospital staff to maintain a clean environment.
• Complete assigned tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of housekeeping, janitorial, cleaning, or related experience.
• Hospital, hotel, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable working in a hospital environment.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and assigned shifts.

Schedule

Available shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Rotating weekends required.

Work Environment

This is a physically active position in a fast-paced hospital setting. Team members spend most of the day walking, standing, lifting, and cleaning throughout the facility while working around patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
