Description:

ENG- Designs, develops, and integrates embedded software solutions supporting missile subsystem and flight test operations. Performs software architecture, implementation, debugging, and hardware integration activities within an embedded Linux environment.

#Education & Job Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, and 8-10 years of related experience
*Experience in software engineering and software development
*Applies ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate to leadership effectively
*Utilizes knowledge and experience with Embedded Linux
*Exhibits proficiency in C++ programming
*Working experience in deploying, debugging, and integrating embedded software on hardware
*Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Preferred Skills
*Demonstrates experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
*Applies experience designing ground system embedded software
*Utilizes experience with GitLab
*Supports software integration and verification experience

#Job Duties & Functions
*Designs, develops, and implements embedded software supporting missile subsystem programs
*Analyzes software requirements and develops architecture and design solutions for embedded applications
*Integrates embedded software with hardware systems to support flight testing objectives
*Performs debugging, validation, and troubleshooting activities within embedded Linux environments
*Develops and maintains C++ software applications for embedded platforms
*Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams to support software integration and system performance
*Supports software verification, testing, and deployment activities throughout the development lifecycle
*Communicates technical solutions, program status, and development activities to leadership and stakeholders
