About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Kids R Kids of Round Rock - Forest Creek as a Lead Two's Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture the minds of our youngest learners. This exciting opportunity allows you to create a fun and engaging learning environment for children aged 2 to 3 years old while collaborating with a passionate team dedicated to early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Encourage positive behaviors and social interactions among students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and daily activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required.
- Prior experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Background check clearance required.
