Account Supervisor
At Giant Noise, we help brands break through the noise through thoughtful storytelling, strong media relationships, and creative campaigns that drive real results. We’re looking for a Public Relations Account Supervisor to lead day-to-day account execution, drive media results, mentor junior team members, and help deliver exceptional client experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, loves media relations, enjoys mentoring others, and can confidently manage multiple clients while balancing strategy execution with strong attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
Lead Day-to-Day Client Management
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact across multiple client accounts
- Lead client calls and meetings with confidence
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional account management
- Keep projects moving by managing timelines, deliverables, and priorities
- Travel as needed for client meetings, events, and activations
Drive Media Results
- Regularly secure regional, local, and national media coverage
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, editors, influencers, and promotional partners
- Execute media outreach strategies that align with client goals
- Maintain regular outreach through email, phone, mailings, and in-person interactions
- Track and communicate campaign performance and media wins
- Stay informed on industry trends across print, digital, broadcast, podcast, and emerging media
Execute Campaigns
- Manage timelines, deliverables, reporting, and campaign execution across client accounts
- Identify timely media opportunities and relevant story angles for clients
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorms and campaign planning discussions
- Write, edit, and proofread press releases, pitches, media alerts, briefing materials, and other PR assets
Lead Internal Teams
- Delegate tasks effectively across Account Executives, Coordinators, and interns
- Oversee day-to-day workflow to ensure strong execution
- Mentor junior team members through feedback, coaching, and support
- Help keep teams motivated, organized, and aligned on priorities
Support Events & Account Operations
- Support planning and execution of media events, activations, and client experiences
- Track time accurately and proactively flag potential overages to leadership
- Help ensure account work is completed efficiently and effectively
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
- Strong media relationships and proven pitching success
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Hospitality, food & beverage, travel, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience is a major plus
