Project Engineer / Process Engineer - W2 only

Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the development of technical scopes and coordinate engineering functions for critical brownfield expansion projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a proactive approach to multidisciplinary coordination, and the ability to ensure compliance with standards while meeting project schedules and budgets.

W2 Only. No C2C / No Visa Sponsorship

No Relocation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field walks and develop technical scope packages.
• Support cost estimation and schedule management up to FID.
• Assist in the creation and updating of key technical documents such as the Basis of Design and Project Execution Plan.
• Facilitate design engineering activities, including FEED, MTO, and constructability reviews.
• Ensure compliance with international and client-specific engineering standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success from inception to commissioning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• 5–10 years of experience in project engineering, ideally in brownfield projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in project management tools and strong communication skills.
