Quality Inspector

Description:

The Inspector/A&P Mechanic performs inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on aircraft while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards. This role is responsible for documenting technical work, conducting inspections, and supporting airworthiness requirements under the direction of the Chief Inspector.

*$35.00 - $45.00/hour

#Education & Job Requirements

*Airframe and powerplant License
*5 to 10 years of experience in a Quality Control position
*Must possess 5-10 years of experience in corporate aviation as an A&P
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Prior aircraft ground handling experience
*Experience in a Heavy maintenance check environment
*Strong knowledge of Federal aviation regulations
*Familiar with issuing 8130's,337's and their requirements
*Familiar with receiving inspection processes and requirements
*Able to read and interpret aircraft drawings
*Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires a clean driving record)
*Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products
*Basic mathematical knowledge
*Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Physical Requirements & Environment

*Works inside a hangar and outside in all types of weather conditions, with direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft
*Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
*Communicate with customers and employees in person, on the phone, and through radio communications
*Position requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
*Good physical condition, frequent lifting, carrying weights up to 35 pounds, and occasional pushing/pulling weights up to 100 pounds
*Outside work in all types of weather
