Paralegal
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence
- File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines
- Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
- Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and case tracking systems
- Review and organize discovery materials
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support legal operations
- Previous of 5+ years of paralegal experince
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules
- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with case management software
- Notary public (optional)
- Office-based – Amarillo, TX
- Full-time / Contract
