Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Candidate must be competent performing 60-minute evaluations and individualized treatment sessions.
- Experience with documentation of evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry consistent with payer and clinic requirements.
- Ability to develop and modify treatment plans using clinical reasoning and to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate.
- Must adhere to state practice act, maintain professional licensure in good standing, and complete required continuing education.
- Preferred: prior experience supervising students or participating in clinical education programs.
