THE TEAM

You will be part of a dynamic Kitchen team, working closely with the Sous Chef and Kitchen leadership to deliver high-quality culinary experiences. The team operates in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment focused on consistency, collaboration, and excellence in food preparation and presentation.

YOUR ROLE

As Cook II, you play an integral role in delivering exceptional hot food production across the kitchen. You are responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items in line with established recipes and standards, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Your contribution supports seamless kitchen operations and ensures a consistently high-quality dining experience for guests.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Prepare and produce hot menu items including sauté, grill, sauces, appetizers, and entrees in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Set up, stock, and maintain your workstation with all required ingredients, tools, and equipment for daily service
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and food preparation spaces at all times
  • Monitor product quality, portion control, and food cost by minimizing waste and following proper storage and rotation procedures
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Supervisor and team members to ensure smooth operations during service, especially during busy periods
  • Complete opening and closing duties including food preparation, storage, labeling, and equipment shutdown in line with standards

  • You bring hands-on culinary experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-quality restaurant environment
  • You have a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and safe food handling practices
  • You work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm, organized, and focused under pressure
  • You are a team player who communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with colleagues across the kitchen
  • You are confident using kitchen equipment and tools safely and can follow recipes while adapting as needed
