Caterpillar Rental & Used (R&U) is a part of the Construction Industries (CI) segment. A primary role of R&U is to support and enhance Caterpillars dealer network which is a competitive strength and the critical way in which we serve our customers.

Role Summary: The Rental & Used Fleet & Financial Data Consultant serves as the data expert for fleet and financial insights. This role supports the Rental Strategy by managing the rental fleet reporting process delivering timely and accurate analysis to Field and Leadership Teams and enhancing reporting capabilities to track progress toward strategic goals.

What Youll Do

• Report monthly dealer r ental fleet and financial metrics .

• Prepare and present Quarterly Financial Reviews to Rental Leadership Team.

• Work with Cat dealers to standardize monthly & quarterly fleet & financial data to leverage insights .

• Leverage Agile project management in development of tool & reporting needs for the Rental & Used organization .

• Interpret data d evelop modelin g for rental & used fleets provide insights in support of Rental & Used initiatives e.g. Rental Fleet Planning & Analysis Rental Profitability Analysis Operational Excellence Rapid Improvement Workshops .

• Complete ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the Rental & Used organization and our business partners.

• Lead data and analytics training to support the Rental & Used organization and our business partners.

• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organizations industry group trends directions major issues regulatory considerations and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Top Candidates W ill A lso H ave:

• Data and analytics experience specifically e xperience utilizing fleet data and analytics to drive strategic insights and business decisions

• Experience developing or frequent usage of Power BI and Dashboard Insights for strateg ic execution

• Experience in the heavy equipment or the equipment rental industry

• Bachelors degree

This role also requires the ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

Summary Pay Range:

$126000.00 - $189000.00
