Business Development Manager - Midwest/Northeast - M/F

Position:
The role involves the following activities:
-Identify, qualify, and pursue new customers, projects, and market segments in the Process Automation Industry in coordination with the Sales Director;
-Achieve the assigned results through the analysis of the offers made and their status, as well as a continuous analysis of the follow-ups, and develop new markets;
-Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across the assigned territory;
-50% or more travel required;
-Manage and expand relationships with EPCs, system integrators, distributors, and end users;
-Create quotations within the limits of the proxies granted;
-Act as a liaison between technical support and the customer;
-Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform pricing and product strategies;
-Profile potential contacts (leads) for possible promotion to prospects;
-Capture all activities in CRM;
-Prepare reports and sales statistics on a well-defined range of customers and then start activities, for example: recovering customers who have stopped buying, increasing customer loyalty below a defined turnover value;
-Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies;
-Area: Northeast and Middlewest US.
Requirements:
-Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
-Relationship-driven mindset with a consultative sales approach;
-Strong interpersonal skills;
-Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently across a large geographic territory;
-Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and closing skills;
-High level of professionalism and integrity;
-Strong organizational and time-management skills;
-Adaptability and resilience in a competitive, technical sales environment.
Other information:
EDUCATION: BA Degree or Technical Degree preferred (electronic is a plus);
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English;
INFORMATION SKILLS: MS Office, Power BI, CRM, and Navision ;
EXPERIENCE: Over 5 years of experience in B2B sales within process automation, especially with electrical & electronics products.
Salary: $100,000 - 140,000
