FIXTURE INSTALLER (Extensive Travel Required)

Job Summary

Performs a variety of tasks under moderate supervision of higher-level employees. Travels to customer location and installs product and equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pays attention to detail
• Travel to customer sites for demolition, installations, and repairs
• Must dress and act professionally at all times due to extensive customer contact
• Responsible for the quality of the project
• Has the knowledge to make adjustments/modification as needed to satisfy the customer
• Tear down and remove old product
• Must understand construction practices and use of handheld power tools
• Ability to set up, run, troubleshoot, and complete minor repairs on equipment
• May load/unload, lift, and move material
• Use of powered hand and table tools are required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours based on the customer needs (most installations will be done at night and on weekends)
• Extensive traveling by car or air
• Report any issues to install lead, manager, or higher-level employee
• Following instructions based on written and verbal direction

• Identify damage and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly work area
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities

• Good verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read measuring devices and have basic math skills of addition, subtraction, and fractions.
• Ability to use metric measurements
• 1 year experience construction/remodel a plus
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
• Ability to work in a variety of roles
• Able to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to be insured on the company vehicle insurance

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Must be able to work in a varying temperature and/or in a warehouse environment
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

The employee may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures, heights, and loud machinery or equipment. The employee may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
