Flexible Circuit Manufacturing Technician

Imagine clocking in and stepping into a clean, fast-paced manufacturing floor where high-conductance flexible circuits and intelligent wiring systems take shape. You review your work orders, set up equipment, and begin crafting components with precision—keeping production on time and quality on target.

A day in the life

• Review and interpret work orders; set up, run, reset, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to customer requirements and established production/quality standards.
• Flag equipment issues early—notify your lead/supervisor and recommend process tweaks to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Prepare product using safety knives, scissors, and tweezers with steady hands and close attention to detail.
• Keep work-in-process moving: locate, stock, build, and manage WIP; load and unload materials to/from fixed equipment, carriers, and mobile racks; deliver WIP safely across the line; and help prep outbound shipments.
• Operate safety-sensitive and heavy equipment such as electric and manual pallet jacks, along with fixed production equipment.
• Catch issues before they leave the line—detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to your department supervisor.
• Enter accurate data for job time and inventory tracking in company systems when required by customer and departmental guidelines.
• Champion safety: report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to your Supervisor or area lead; maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow all safety regulations.
• Support the team by jumping in where needed to accomplish related results.

What you bring

• Prior experience in production operations, material handling, or as a technician in a manufacturing/warehouse setting is preferred (not required).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Comfort communicating in English, both written and verbal, and you are at least 18 years old.
• Punctual, reliable, and solutions-oriented with a professional, can-do approach.
• Ability to identify process issues and respond to safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing.
• Schedule flexibility for days, nights, or weekends as business needs shift; willing to work overtime and pivot on short notice.
• IPC 7711/7721 certification holders are strongly encouraged to apply.

PPE and safety

You may be required to wear PPE such as safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, and clean-room frocks while following prescribed procedures.

Physical demands and environment

• Perform physically demanding work for extended periods (up to 12 hours/day).
• Frequently use hands/fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, and controls; talk and hear as needed.
• Regularly stand, walk, sit, reach with hands/arms, pull/push; and at times climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
• Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds without assistance, including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs.
• Visual needs include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, plus the ability to adjust focus.
• Work in a shop environment with high noise from running machines, moving equipment/machine parts, nuisance dust, and potential skin exposure to materials used during prep.
