What you will do

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of a machining team to ensure smooth throughput.
• Train and mentor new employees, reinforcing standards and continuous improvement.
• Monitor quality and processes to meet internal specifications and customer expectations.
• Build schedules, assign work, and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
• Host regular team meetings to communicate objectives, updates, and feedback.
• Enforce safety guidelines and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Partner with management to identify process enhancements and implement them.
• Track production metrics and document team performance accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are beneficial.
• Background in a manufacturing or production environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and build accountable teams.
• Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective decision-maker under pressure with solid problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practical application on the floor.
• Comfortable with computers and production-related software tools.
• Available for flexible hours and overtime when needed.
