Event Sales Professional - Silencers
Job Description

Silencer Central is passionate about the compliancy, knowledge and community education in firearm sound suppression and making silencer buying simple since 2005.
Shift : Primarily weekends (Typically Thursday through Sunday) - You will be responsible for attending 2-3 shows a month, to represent Silencer Central within a 5-hour radius of your location.
Job Summary :
Silencer Central is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Show Sales Professional to represent our brand at premier industry events, expos, and trade shows, regionally. This role is ideal for a motivated closer with a proven track record in direct-to-consumer sales who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the public face of Silencer Central at events, you will be responsible for engaging prospective customers, delivering compelling product presentations, and converting leads into immediate sales.
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Silencer Central at assigned trade shows, exhibitions, and events.
- Proactively engage attendees to identify prospects, qualify leads, and capture customer information for follow-up.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating the features, benefits, and value of Silencer Central’s products and streamlined purchasing process.
- Master and articulate the company’s value proposition, compliance process, and customer benefits to instill confidence and trust.
- Drive the complete sales cycle on the trade show floor, from initial engagement through to closing the sale.
- Overcome objections, address customer concerns, and tailor solutions to meet individual customer needs.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals and performance metrics set for event participation.
- Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and customer-focused demeanor that reflects the company’s high standards.
- Independently set up booths/tables
- Ability to operate a computer and process sales
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success in B2C sales, ideally within trade shows, retail events, or a one-call-close environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and driven by results with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness and ability to travel, with availability to work weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with the hunting, firearms, or outdoor industry strongly preferred.
Compensation:
- This is a 100% commission only role
