Staff Software Engineer

About the Role
We’re looking for a Staff Engineer to serve as a lead contributor on projects that are redefining how complex workflows get done in a tech-driven industry. This role is hands-on: you’ll be writing high-quality code, leading by example, and making thoughtful, scalable technical decisions that help the team move faster and smarter. You’ll work across the stack and collaborate with multiple teams, translating abstract user problems into tangible solutions.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a modern web stack, with a proven record of technical leadership on large or complex projects. You should feel comfortable adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment and have a bias toward shipping incremental value while upholding strong technical standards. Experience at a later-stage startup or large-scale tech company is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of complex features — scoping, designing, implementing, and shipping code that directly improves customer workflows.

• Act as a technical lead on key initiatives, ensuring delivery with speed and quality.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to break down ambiguous problems into maintainable, simple solutions.

• Build and enhance APIs and data integrations within a modern TypeScript stack (React + Node).

• Explore innovative, AI-driven solutions that anticipate the next generation of user needs.

• Champion engineering best practices around testing, code review, observability, and CI/CD.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and strong engineering culture.

• Influence technical strategy, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and delivering end-to-end features in high-quality engineering environments.

• A track record of owning projects, mentoring junior developers, and shipping impactful product improvements.

• Strong technical instincts with the ability to balance velocity and long-term scalability.
