Sr. Technical Data Lake Project Manager
Tools (Hands-On Required)
- MS Project – schedules, milestones, dependencies
- JIRA – daily task tracking / standups
- Visio – architecture & executive visuals
- PowerPoint – CIO & sponsor presentations
- MS Office Suite
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Technical Project Management , with at least 4+ years leading large or complex IT initiatives
- Proven experience managing Data Lake and Data Lakehouse projects as the primary responsibility
- Hands-on experience with Databricks , Mainframe data integration , and Virtual ODS (Operational Data Store) implementations
- Strong understanding of data governance , data architecture , and information systems security
- Experience delivering projects within a State or Government environment
- Expertise running highly structured, metric-driven projects (not Agile-focused)
- Proficiency in MS Project , JIRA, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Office
- Demonstrated ability to present executive-level status reports to CIOs, sponsors, and senior stakeholders
