Job/Practice Description:

Pediatric Gastroenterologist

• Clinical responsibilities include ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performing general GI procedures. The candidate will participate in supervising and educating medical students, residents, and fellows. The division has established an innovative Advanced Endoscopy fellowship and trained five fellows. The Voelker Clinical Research Center supports clinical research pursuits.
• Outpatient care for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
• Inpatient, consultation, and emergency room care for children with similar disorders.
• Perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with therapeutic procedures).
