Rio Bank is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our Blanco branch . As a Personal Banker you will be a brand ambassador responsible for building lasting relationships with our valued customers. You will play a crucial role in handling a variety of transactions and assisting customers with their financial needs.

Summary

As a Personal Banker you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, opening new accounts, and processing a variety of teller transactions. You will also play a key role in educating customers about Rio Bank's products and services and making recommendations that meet their needs.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (hours vary)

What You'll Do

• Provide a high level of customer service to our customers
• Process a variety of retail and commercial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and check cashing
• Balance cash drawer daily
• Assist in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash
• Open and close accounts and perform account maintenance
• Process check orders, debit cards, wire transfers, and stop payments.
• Promote the bank's products and services
• Answer customer inquiries in a helpful manner and refer customers to to other departments as needed
• Process ATM, Debit and ACH disputes
• Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
• Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• One (1) or more years of experience in a customer service role
• Two (2) years cash handling experience in a financial institution or combination of education and experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license

Preferred

• Working knowledge of banking rules and regulations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability
