Job Summary
W e are seeking a Production Technician to support the startup, operation, and maintenance of two ultra-high purity nitrogen production facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while meeting customer supply requirements.
Job Description
- Start up, monitor, and operate two ultra-high purity nitrogen plants (air separation units)
- Adjust plant operating parameters using process control systems to meet production demands
- Complete operational and maintenance tasks as part of an onsite team
- Respond to plant alarms on nights and weekends when on-call
- Conduct daily plant inspections, readings, and calibrate onsite gas analyzers
- Manage cryogenic tank inventories and customer supply
- Complete preventative maintenance work orders per the published schedule
- Maintain compressors, piping systems, cooling water systems, and facilities
- Troubleshoot cryogenic gas systems and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and maintain high safety protocols
Skills Required
- 1+ years of related operations experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google software, and operator interface consoles (HMIs)
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs.
Education
- H i gh School Diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills and market factors
