Job Description:

Piping Technology and Products is looking for a Janitorial Worker who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas of the facility. This position ensures that the premises are clean, organized, and presentable, contributing to a safe, healthy, and efficient working environment. The Janitorial Worker performs cleaning duties using a variety of tools, equipment, and cleaning agents while adhering to company safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, offices, and other common areas to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sweep floors, stairs, and hallways as necessary.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and other areas.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained, and report any equipment malfunctions to management.
• Follow all safety and health protocols, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections of restrooms and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Assist with moving furniture or equipment as needed for cleaning purposes.
• Clean and maintain break rooms, kitchens, and other designated employee areas.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations regarding cleanliness and sanitation.
• Handle occasional deep cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing walls, ceilings, and specialized cleaning areas.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to [insert weight] pounds.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime if required.

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including industrial and commercial spaces.
