As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Intake in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Welcome employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify access authorization and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from a stationary post; report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating information, following established protocols, and assisting with front-desk coordination.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
